SweetIM for ICQ beta officially started !

Thursday, September 11th, 2008

Hi everybody,

I’m glad to announce that we’ve officially started the beta tests of SweetIM version 2.6.

The first few users have received their invitations this morning and have already reported a few minor bugs.

At this point we are only testing the integration with ICQ.  Hopefully we’ll start testing the integration with Messenger Plus! soon.

I’m reminding you that if you are an ICQ user and would like to participate in the beta tests, you’ll have to send us an email to “info@sweetim.com” with your name and ICQ #.

New version supporting ICQ & MsgPlus!

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

Hi Everybody,

We’ve got some good news, and some even better news:
Due to the great success and popularity of SweetIM among MSN, Yahoo, and AIM Messengers users (millions of active users !!), we’ve decided that it’s simply wrong to leave so many ppl out there in the world without our cool content just because they are using a different IM !

So the good news is that we’ve decided to develop SweetIM for ICQ as well !
The even better news is that it’s almost ready, which means our Emoticons, Winks, Sounds, Videos, Nudges, and the rest of our cool content will be available for ICQ users soon !

We’re currently looking for ICQ users to participate in our Beta tests.
Feel free to register for it by sending an email to info@sweetim.com with the subject “ICQ beta” and with your ICQ number.

Also on this version:

* Some bugs fixes.

* Messenger Plus! support.

We’re also looking for Messenger Plus! users for beta testing the new version.  So if you’re a Messenger Plus! user - Feel free to register for it by sending an email to info@sweetim.com with the subject “MsgPlus beta” and with your Messenger contact info.

SweetIM new GUI design - Beta starts today !

Monday, July 14th, 2008

Good news !!

We’re starting the beta tests of our new menu today !

The ones out there who have sent us a comment offering their help have already received an email explaining them how to install the new beta version.

Others who still haven’t done so - are more than welcome to send us a comment here and we’ll add you to the beta program.  Any help will gladly be accepted !!

If there are no special surprises (and I trust our developers that there won’t be any suprises) then we will probably launch the new menu design to all of our users in a month from now.

Till then, I’de like you all to send us your feedback here.  We’ll do our best to fix whatever there’s to fix, and improve whatever there’s to improve so millions of users will enjoy it.
